Ray Comfort is best-known as a Christian evangelist who not only creatively and enthusiastically preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as he can, but he also teaches and equips other believers to do the same. His ministry, Living Waters, provides a variety of resources: movies and training videos such as The Way of The Master evangelism series; helpful books and “The Evidence Bible”; and a wide variety of gospel tracts that are fun to use. Let’s talk about the elephant in the room…
If people who struggle with bad eating habits read my book, “Elephant in the Room,” they will find hope and wisdom from the Bible to change their unhealthy attitude about food, to take practical steps to defeat gluttony, and to find love and satisfaction through God’s gift of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ.
Dear friends – In November 2015, I accepted a challenge to write a novel – 50,000 words in the 30 days – with the encouragement of a free on-line writing community, NaNoWriMo.
Writing a book is one thing. Getting it published and promoted is another thing altogether. There are so many options for submitting manuscripts, and I found great ideas and instructions online from Michael Hyatt along with his book Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World to publicize my book through social media.
I am pleased to announce that my Christian fiction novel “Elephant in the Room” is NOW AVAILABLE in print and e-book formats from Dove Christian Publishers.
For more information about my book, please check out the section about it. There are a few blog posts about writing a story with a difficult issue, too. If you want to keep updated about the book and follow this blog, please sign up below.
By the way, I took the challenge again and wrote another book in November 2016, and I plan to write again this year. Have you ever thought about writing a book? Do you want to join me this November in the challenge? Let me know in the comment section below.
