Christmas

Christmas O Holy NightThis is not the website to find creative DIY ideas for beautiful Christmas decorations or where to find the best bargains for Christmas gift-giving. Living in Southern California, I have no experience with a white Christmas; I’m more familiar with the opening verse that comes before the chestnuts roasting.  You can see by the list of blog posts below that I think about and write about focusing on Jesus Christ at Christmas.

I appreciate the fact that Thanksgiving precedes ChristmasThanksgiving gives us the opportunity to take note of what we already have (before we ask for more) and to express our gratitude to the One who provides it all.  While we’re in the giving mood, this is a great time to consider how to give to others who are less fortunate.

I was surprised when Santa Claus made it into my first Christian fiction novel, “Elephant in the Room.”  I have a couple of posts about the Christian Santa character from the book along with some ideas about talking to your children about Santa Claus.
